About JeanJean has been in the learning business since she began conducting school in the cellar with her dolls and stuffed animals. She has 16 years of experience designing learning in corporate training, 11 years teaching and developing online courses in higher education, 3 years developing elearning for a custom elearning development company and in her early career, spent 5 years as a teacher at the primary level,. She has the ability to make the complex simple, and learning fun.
In March of 2016, Jean was honored by the eLearning Guild as the recipient of the 2016 Guild Master Award in recognition of her outstanding contributions to the eLearning Guild and the Learning Technologies industry. educationCapella University Minneapolis, MN
certifications & AwardsSince 2006, Jean has been a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP), ATD's highest credential, with a focus on instructional design. She was the first to receive this honor in New England, and part of the elite group that piloted the program. She regularly serves as a reviewer for new candidate certification.

Just for FunJean loves the arts, and is a frequenter of the theatre, concerts and museums. She is learning to paint in watercolor, and in the February-March 2018, had two of her pieces exhibited in a juried show at the Rhode Island Watercolor Society and had another piece selected as the May picture in their 2019 calendar
