Purpose: To provide a fun, non-churchy sounding activity for women to bring their unsaved friends to

Location: Church Fellowship Hall or other large room

Invitation: Falling in Love Again

Join us for an afternoon of muffins, memories and Michele.

For women of all ages, but especially those who remember being thirteen, sharing secrets, and giggling with girlfriends

Date, Time, Location

Set up: Prepare a table with plates, napkins and beverage

Provide food: muffins, specialty coffees and teas

Room set up in tables of 6-8 to encourage small group discussion

Decorate with a heart/Valentine theme

Half sheets, 1 per participant with:

Favorite Love Story/Movie

Favorite Food

Games: Snowball fight: Favorites

Name that Tune

(Prizes are Valentine candies)

Schedule

Opening, 5 minutes: When was the first time you fell in love as a little girl? Share at tables

Game One, 30 minutes: Snowball Fight: Favorites

Have women fill in their favorite movie, song and food, then form a large circle or 10-15

Crumple paper into a ball and throw them at each other for a bit

Each one reaches in and grabs a snowball

Read the paper you have and try to guess whose favorites you have

Game Two, 20 minutes: Play Name that Tune with famous love songs

Bible Lesson, 45 minutes

Theme: God loves us completely, no matter what. Fall in love with him again!

Use the story of Gomer and Hosea, with a parallel of God and you (Hosea 1-14)

Close with I John 4:9-10 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

Ask: Have you accepted His Love? Give an invitation to accept Christ.
