Looking for Paul
In this lesson we are going to find out as much as we can about the author of the letter from the letter itself.  Print out (or save to your word processor) the text of the letter and circle (or highlight on your screen) every reference to Paul, including pronouns, in purple, like this sample:
 
1  Paul and Timothy, servants of Christ Jesus, To all the saints in Christ Jesus at Philippi, together with the overseers and deacons:
2  Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
I thank my God every time I remember you.

Then record all of the infomation you discover in each chapter in the chart below, and answer the questions that follow it.  I've started the information from the first three verses of chapter one to get you started.
